Roblox Innovation Awards The platform’s best performances were celebrated at RDC yesterday, with viral sensation Dress to Impress being awarded three prestigious titles, making it the only experience to win more than two titles this year. Blox Fruits and Gunfight Arena were also among the winners.
Roblox’s wildly popular fashion game Dress to Impress swept the RDC’s 2024 awards ceremony this weekend, winning awards for Best New Experience, Best Creative Direction, and the prestigious Builderman Award of Excellence. In case anyone had any doubts, Dress to Impress’s Brat update is proof of the team’s incredible creative direction and great use of collaboration to help expand their game beyond the typical Roblox audience and into the general public.
Longtime fan favorite Roblox anime game Blox Fruits won the Best Action Game award, as well as the title for most concurrent users, with 1.66 million players at one point. Splitting Point’s FPS game Gunfight Arena won the People’s Choice Award and the developer won Best Studio, but it failed to win the Best Shooter award, which went to Arsenal.
The 2024 Roblox Innovation Awards were also streamed in five different languages - English, German, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish – with the company partnering with community content creators, making the event even more accessible to the global community. Creekcraft, one of the co-streamers involved in the ceremony, won the award for Best Video Star.
