For convenience, Xender allows users to customize their avatar with a special pre-made cartoon or a personal photo of their choice.
This will make things easier when transferring files as other users will be able to easily recognize you by your picture instead of a random character picture.
How to customize your avatar with a custom photo?
To customize your avatar with your own photo on Xender, follow these steps:

- to start Gender on your device.
- Tap on you Avatar icon in the upper left corner of the screen to open the menu.
- Now tap on you Avatar icon Next to your device name.
- A list of various pre-made cartoon characters will now appear with the option to take a photo with the camera or select a custom photo from the gallery.
- You on the other hand to accept a picture or Choose one from the gallery.
- After you select an image, it will ask you crop Selected images.
- Adjust the photo accordingly, and then tap Save button to select that photo as your avatar icon.
- By doing this, you can now successfully change your avatar photo!
By doing this, other devices will be able to connect to your device easily and the pairing process will be much faster as your photo will be shown and others will be able to connect to your device easily without asking your device name.
